I’m Dana and I am 19 years old. I am from Westerly, Rhode Island which is a small beach town very well known for Misquamicut Beach and Watch Hill in the summertime. I am a sophomore TMD major and Business minor here at the University of Rhode Island. I plan on starting an online clothing brand in the very near future, and hope to further build my brand once I graduate with the help of my degree and knowledge in the industry.

I come from a very creative and hands on family. My mother grew up in Italy and loves to sew, when she was younger she would make all of her clothing and to this day she continues to enjoy using her crafty side. My father works in our local textile mill which sells fabrics to Nike and many other well known brands. I am the middle child between two sisters, my oldest sister graduated from URI with a TMD major and is now living in New York and working as a personal stylist, and my younger sister is only 12 years old and has been able to impressively draw and paint for as long as I can remember. I was never a sporty child; the most I participated in would be my 15 years of experience in dance. I have always been more interested in creative activities such as making jewelry, designing and sewing clothing, drawing, painting and writing. I hope to be working in the fashion industry once I graduate as well as possibly moving to either New York or California.
